Jon has been visiting our Spanish supplier this week in the Murcia region of the country near the city of Cartagena. With English potatoes looking like they will dry up quickly this year, we need a Spanish supply of Agria to keep the shops going for a few weeks. The region has been short of rain with temperatures soaring in the last few weeks which has not made things easy. Demand for Spanish Agria potatoes is therefore high this year, pushing prices further up.
